There are dishes in our cuisine that are linked to holidays, traditions, different seasons or occasions. All these recipes are almost always made with poor condiments.
The land was not suitable for cultivation, however was suitable for vineyards which drew much wine. The vineyards disappeared in the last century due to the arrival of the industries and farmes walked away from the lands. But wine is now one of the most seasonings used in the preparation of the recipes of our town and still present in our cuisine.
